Calleen Hough was born in Fresno, California. Her family moved to El Cajon, California when Calleen was in the first grade where she lived until she was married in 1982. When Calleen was 14, she was raped while spending the night at a friend’s house. The experience of rape caused Calleen to struggle with drug abuse and sexual addiction throughout her teenage years. At the age of 18, Calleen experienced date rape and when she was 19, she was abducted by a serial rapist and raped at knife point in the building where she worked. The following year, Calleen overdosed on sleeping pills in order to end a life that had become too painful to endure. Calleen miraculously survived the overdose and as a result gave her life to Christ at the age of 20. Calleen now lives in Arlington, Washington where she attends Canyon Hills Community Church. Calleen has three adult children who are in their 30’s and three grandchildren.
